| In the ACCENT consortium, we are fortunate to have the major European aero engine manufacturers working together with some of the top European research institutes. The skills and experience of the individuals working in the consortium are world leading. The overall mix of industrial experience and research capability is specifically designed to meet the very high technological demands of the ACCENT project. Working within specifically tasked work packages, each beneficiary will be stretched by both the technical challenge and the demanding work schedule. But, as a consequence of previous collaboration, excellent past working relationships will ensure that the project will be given the best opportunity to reach its aims and objectives. With the addition of new collaborators, new and exciting skills and experience will be added to the already very dynamic mix. With the strong demands of the end users for new and cost effective methods of production, exploitation of the project results can be assured. And, whilst there is only one SME within the consortium, dissemination of project results to the wider community, and especially the end user supply chain, will ensure further involvement of SMEs with the ACCENT results. For the research organisations, exploitation activities are well catered for also, and publication will be encouraged subject to the terms of the collaboration agreement.
